More Information

These videos on this DVD are recorded at 1024*768 for a screen filling crisp video and great quality sound. The DVD runs for 3 hours and 40 minutes which is superb value. When I tried to produce a web site some years ago I found it all baffling, I wasted a lot of time and trouble and gave up on many occasions. So the aim in creating this tutorial DVD is to keep things simple. A web site rarely starts as a huge undertaking, we start small and build from there. The benefits of that are obvious and as our knowledge grows, so our site can become more sophisticated.

On this DVD we cover everything from creating a site structure so we can always locate and find files and the whole site retains some order, to buying a domain name, web space and uploading our first website. We create automatic galleries in Photoshop or Photoshop Elements, but also show you how you can create your own galleries manually to retain full creative control.

We show you how to create a template so that your colour scheme and website style is reflected through the entire website. This makes your site easy to navigate and that is vital to retain visitors once they find your site. We show you how to create a logo and buttons and how to link those to your web pages.

We show you how to prepare images and thumbnails and how to place them on your gallery pages and link them into your site. Where do you put your site, what is band width, what is FTP is all explained in full screen video along with how to purchase a unique domain name to you for a couple of pounds a year.

Click HERE to see the actual site that was created during the recording of the DVD. Click HERE to access on line help for all those questions that come up along the way. If you have a question that the DVD does not answer we will do our best to answer it as comprehensively as we can and post it HERE for all to benefit from.

Dear Barry,

I must congratulate you on your DVD "Creating a website", which I purchased from you about 6 weeks ago. Since that time I have spent many hours building my own website. Today, at last I have managed to launch it. In fact, uploading the site prtesented the only problem. That was resolved,
eventually, by switching off my Windows Firewall, thanks to the immediate responce from netcetera. Then it was so simple.

The t address is www.allenlloyd.co.uk I have placed a link to
you, on my links page, as without the help of your DVD my website would not
have been possible. I hope that you will be able to reciprocate, at some
time in the future.

Thank you, once more,

Best Wishes,

Allen Lloyd
