The needs of the professional wedding photographer are different to those of amateur photographers when it comes to producing digital audio visual shows. Sure we can all spend a week and produce something really special, but the wedding photographer needs to consider the practical commercial world too. That is where we step in to help.

This tutorial DVD starts with the wedding images once they have been down-loaded, saved securely and manipulated ready for the usual album and prints. This point must be reached whether its your intention to make a slide show or not. We are assuming that what we are aiming for is a great slide show that we can output for both PC use and for viewing on a domestic DVD player through a TV. We will also cover the presenting of proof images to customers in a similar way.

Our emphasis will be on speed of work and the ability to repeat what we have done on one wedding slide show with the next. Yes, it will need to be topped and tailed with the correct names and dates, but much can be used again. In time we can build up a set of styles that the customer can choose from. Those slide shows will then need the minimum amount of work to get us to the finished result.

We will also be concentrating on Actions within Photoshop to make sure that what we need to do is automated as far as possible and we will look at protecting our images and slide shows from unauthorised use. We will also introduce you to music that you can use free of copyright issues and a way you can create your own dedicated wedding music. Don’t worry, you don’t have to attend music school first.

In addition we cover some unique techniques to create something different in our slide shows. The Scattered Pictures Technique and the Wedding Album are two. If we can stand out from the competition by creating something different, that will be good for business. The value of this DVD is superb when you consider the hours of video and demos included.
