Our
Introduction Slide Show - This slide
show was created as the introduction to our Techniques
1 tutorial DVD This a must see demo that sets
the scene with our Techniques 1 DVD and explains where
the demos we have shown below fit into that particular
disk. |

Monochrome
to Colour - One of the most impressive
techniques we can create is a gentle fade from a sparkling
monochrome image to a colour version. As the colour
fades in from a monochrome the appeal is unmistakable.
It adds interest and impact to almost any slide show.
This technique can be found on our Techniques

Monochrome
to Colour - In this demonstration
we show how we can adjust our slide show software so
that the colour appears to grow from the subject on
screen, rather than us use a standard fade. The effect
can look quite impressive when used in a slide show.
This technique can be found on our Techniques

Monochrome
to Colour - Another demonstration
where we demonstrate how we can direct just how the colour
appears through the monochrome version. When we match
a few simple controls with the right subject matter, the
technique is hard to beat. This technique can be found
on our Techniques

Colour
to Monochrome -
Of course we can always reverse this technique starting
with a colour image and reverting to monochrome. In fact
moving from a coloured image to a sepia tone gives us
a great visual link back in time for our slide shows that
contain a historical subject. This technique can be found
on our Techniques

Picture
in Picture - This technique is probably
the best you will find to enable you to show your portrait
format images inside a landscape format slide show. It
adds charm, and impact to our slide show and can be applied
in a wide variety of ways. This technique can be found
on our Techniques

 |
 |
Picture
in Picture - Here we have just one
alternative to the basic technique above, using an oval
shape gives us more scope to present our images at their
best. In addition to picture in picture techniques using
an oval image, we can also use soft edges to our images
too. This technique can be found on our Techniques
1 tutorial DVD |

 |
Animation
using Layers - Here we start to
get creative with our opening titles by using layers in
PicturesToExe. Here we have three small demos that demonstrate
our titles dropping gently down from behind the clouds
or emerging from behind a tree in the forest. All these
techniques are full demonstrated in our videos and can
be found on our Techniques

 |
 |
Superimposing
one image over another - In this
technique we demonstrate how we can use almost any image
that has texture, stone, wood, bark of a tree, concrete
and place another image over that original so it takes
on that texture. It can be used to great creative effect
or simple used as another way to introduce vertical images
into a landscape slide show. All these techniques are
full demonstrated in our videos and can be found on our
Techniques

Line
up those Horizons - In a landscape/seascape
slide show it is important that we line up the horizons
wherever we can. Horizons appearing in different parts
of the image during transitions can be disturbing to the
eye. We can fix this easily in our image editor and our
video will show you how. Here we demonstrate 2 examples
where the horizons are lined up and how different transition
styles affect how they appear. All these techniques are
full demonstrated in our videos and can be found on our
Techniques
