Once again, and excellent service. Less than 20 hours from making the order to actually receiving the DVD. And, what a DVD!! This is an absolute must for all PTE 5.5 owners, as it is packed full of excellent quality and informative tutorials and extras. Despite the turmoil of moving house your customer service has remained first class. Barry, could I be very cheeky and ask you how you arrived at the (I think) watercolour effects on some of those superb photos. I've had a look at Alien Skin Snap Art, but this does not produce the excellent results you have. Or, it it that you have added watercolour painting to your many skills!! Once again, thanks. We have taken the opportunity in this DVD to work with the newly released PTE V5.5, including first an overview of the new software and the changes it brings. While not a fundamental change, it does significantly change how the time line works and also gives us a much better mini player for viewing our work on the fly.

This DVD also follows the making of two major audio visual shows that can be downloaded and viewed before purchase via links on the Special Projects page. We show the filtered audio visual in detail following the entire process to conclusion. The author demonstrates his way of working from start to finish.

We also seem to have difficulty making our slide shows for multiple formats. No matter what we do we cannot make one format, say 1024*768 pixels (4:3) match up to a 1280*1024 pixel (5:4) format, that is impossible. What we can do is make two shows one for each format, which isn’t as time consuming as you may think. If we are a Photoshop action it will do 80% of the work for us. Combine that with the benefits of the PTE 5.5 save backup in zip process and we have a very quick process.

As usual we include the slides shows and demos we make on the DVD and on this particular DVD we have included a slide show made by a visitor to our web site. We were so impressed with his interpretation of our filter effect technique that we asked him if we could use it on this DVD. That you will find on the slide show page of the DVD menu.
