Updating PicturesToExe Slide Show Software

We receive a couple of e-mails a week asking how to upgrade to the latest version of PicturesToExe, will it cost any money and how do I install my product key in the updated version? The good news is that it will not cost you anything at all to update to the latest PTE program and the product key you already have installed with your current version will work fine with the new version.

PicturesToExe is actually made up of two programs in one. There is the main PicturesToExe slide show creation program and also VideoBuilder. VideoBuilder is that part of the software that creates DVD's. The main slide show part of the program has free updates for life, VideoBuilder doesn't.

1. Click our WNSOFT button below that will take you to the web site you need. Then click on the button below called "Download Trial" Don't worry it will not be a trial software for you, because once installed it will accept the product key you already have installed on your PC. Your product key, even if purchased some time ago, will be valid for the latest version of PTE. You have nothing to pay !!!

NB. PTE will not overwrite earlier versions of the software, but will install as a second version. Download and install the new version and when/if you want to, you can uninstall any earlier versions. Remember that you WILL be able to open project files made in previous versions of PTE, but not the other way round. We have never experienced any issues with this at all, but it makes sense to save any old project files with a different name so you could go back and open them in an earlier version of PTE should the need arise.

The Upgrade Process

Click the Wnsoft logo below and when you arrive at the web page click the Green Download button shown below

Once you hit this Download button you will be prompted to save the file

Click the save button and save the file to a convenient place on your computer, the desktop may be the best place for it. The file you are downloading is the exe file that will install the software, but it is standard Internet practice for that file to be downloaded as a zipped file as shown below.

To unzip this file, first highlight that file and right click. Choose Extract All from the options you are presented with and follow the wizard. Your PC will unzip the folder and present you with a standard folder, as you can see below.

Open this folder and double click the setup file shown below.

Install the software in the usual way and it will automatically accept the product key you already have installed
